So my New Years Resolution is…
not to make one because I never keep them! Is that the story of your life too? I’ve learned that when I make them, I won’t stick to them because I create them 2 days before New Years Eve.. No bueno! Nine times out of ten, New Years Resolutions fail because we set unrealistic expectations. We aim for the moon! Then we find ourselves right back where we started. Set small achievable goals. If you’re wanting to shed a few pounds, don’t say “I want to lose weight” that is not a goal. Losing 15 lbs in 90 days is goal. Keep it real, practical and most importantly be patient. Ask yourself what can I do today to reach my goal? Change your mindset! Use the 21/90 rule: It takes 21 days to form a habit, 90 days to form lifestyle!
